This week, October 22nd to 27th 2007, is National Care Leaver's Week. Life Swap is a Sheffield City Council project to help create a better understanding of the lives of Care Experiences young people and promote improved communication with their 'corporate parents', the Council. A group of seven young people and five councillors from across the city have taken the photos on this site using mobile phone cameras, supplied by O2. On Wednesday 24th October 2007 they took photos and posted it to this site to show each other what an ordinary day is like. They swapped their life experiences. WE WANT YOUR COMMENTS. Cllr Ian Saunders - Just some of the paperwork. About 1/2 way through. Once done I'll post them in the morning on my way to the Town Hall. I am interviewing for the next 2 days for a senior post in the Children's Service. Once done tonight I am off for a cuppa & to bed. Cllr Leigh Brammall - No break for lunch.it's sandwiches at my desk at work whilst i check and reply to council emails remotely using my blackberry - couldnt live without it! Cllr Ian Saunders - called in to local MPs office to discuss some casework with his office manager Cllr Jenny Armstrong - Leaving work for the day. Off till friday for councillor work. Cllr Jenny Armstrong - Phones are down. Holding everybody up. Amazing how everything goes to pot when technology fails! Cllr Leigh Brammall - Arrive at my regular job mid-mornin after leaving the town hall Cllr Julie Dore - In the middle of a meeting with colleagues disscussing a consultation event we are doing this afternoon. I'm truly the one in the middle! The little guy on the left, Pete is sitting down! Jabar is standing on a chair!
